The Office supports the Executive Chairman in providing executive leadership, strengthening institutional governance, implementing strategic policies, coordinating public programmes and promoting sustainable development throughout Akassa Local Government Area.

Working closely with Ambassador Hunter Halder, the Office is committed to transparency, accountability, effective public administration, community empowerment and partnership-driven development.

About Honourable Orlando Amanate Javan

Honourable Orlando Amanate Javan serves as the Vice Executive Chairman of Akassa Local Government Area, supporting the Executive Chairman, Ambassador Hunter Halder, in executive administration, policy implementation, institutional development, public service delivery and sustainable community development.

In addition to his responsibilities within the Local Government Administration, Honourable Orlando Amanate Javan also serves as the Provost of Ogodo Ama Township, a Federated Community of the Sangana Kingdom, which forms part of the Akassa Clan Kingdom of Akassa Local Government Area. Through this traditional leadership responsibility, he promotes cultural heritage, community development, peacebuilding and cooperation between traditional institutions and public administration.

His combined responsibilities in government administration and traditional leadership strengthen collaboration among local government institutions, traditional authorities, Federal Government agencies, development partners, the Nigerian diaspora and international organisations working to advance sustainable development throughout Akassa Local Government Area.
