The Office of the Provost supports the Executive Council through institutional coordination, administrative excellence, civic engagement, protocol management and strategic collaboration with government institutions, traditional authorities, development partners and local communities.
Under the leadership of Calvin Clive Berewari, the Office is committed to strengthening good governance, promoting unity among communities and supporting sustainable development initiatives throughout Akassa Local Government Area.
About the Provost
Calvin Clive Berewari serves as the Provost of Akassa Local Government Area, providing leadership in institutional coordination, executive protocol, administrative support and community engagement. The Office works closely with the Executive Chairman, Vice Executive Chairman and members of the Executive Council to strengthen effective governance and organizational excellence.
The Office promotes collaboration among government institutions, traditional leaders, civil society, youth organizations, women groups, the Nigerian diaspora, development partners and international organizations to encourage inclusive governance and sustainable community development.
